Since 1979, when the Foundation was established, donors have helped to create a charitable endowment of over ten million dollars, the income from which supports non-profit organizations, community projects and scholarships, today and into the future. More than one million dollars has been contributed to projects, primarily those that support health, education, the arts, social services and West Vancouver's physical environment.
Richard Florida is Director of the Martin Prosperity Institute at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Global Research Professor at New York University and a Visiting Fellow at Florida International University. He has penned several global best sellers, including the award winning The Rise of the Creative Class.

In West Vancouver, we’re working on Vital Signs, a community check up or report card that measures quality of life in our community, identifies trends, and shares opportunities for action. It uses indicators to assess how the community is doing in a number of theme areas, such as health, education, environment, and civic engagement.
