How to apply for a West Vancouver Community Foundation Scholarship/Award

All our online applications are listed below. Applications are also mailed to high schools throughout the North Shore & Vancouver. If you cannot access an application, e-mail westvanfoundation@telus.net or call us at 604-925.8153.

The following are general guidelines for most of our scholarships/awards:

You must be a resident of West Vancouver (most of the scholarships/awards but not all)
You must have a solid Grade Point Average

Instructions

Complete the application form by using a computer, or printing neatly in blue or black ink.
Please read the first page of each application to ensure you are eligible for the award/scholarship.
Answer all the questions. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Proofread your application carefully.

Mailing instructions & deadline information

All applications must be received (not postmarked) by 15 April 2012.

2012 Scholarships & Awards Offered

2012 British Pacific Properties Limited Scholarship – $750 (WVSS & Sentinel students only, must be entering full-time study in Science or Engineering at a university in BC) - Please click here for application form.

2012 Bradley T. Bowles Scholarship – $1,000 (West Vancouver Secondary students only, must be enrolling in a post-secondary institution in BC) - Please click here for application form.

2012 Jerry Beckerman Memorial Scholarship – $1,000 (must be graduating from a public secondary school in School District #45) – Please click here for application form.

2012 Gertrude Lawson Scholarship in Education – $750 (must be a resident of West Vancouver) – Please click here for application form.

2012 Christina Lawson Scholarship in Music/Drama – $750 (must be a resident of West Vancouver) – Please click here for application form.

2012 Faris Family Scholarship – $1500 a year for 4 years, total of $6000 (must be a resident of West Vancouver) - Please click here for application form.
