NEXT GRANT DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 15, 2008 The West Vancouver Community Foundation is a registered charity that pools large and small gifts into a common endowment fund. The income provides grants to local non-profit projects and scholarships to local graduating high school students. The Foundation looks to increase its endowment and use the interest earned to fund local projects. Every six months, the Foundation's grant committee accepts applications for funding. Grants are given to worthy community programs or not-for-profit organizations with priority given to projects where the emphasis is on health, education, the arts, social services and the improvement of West Vancouver's physical environment. HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT You are invited to submit a grant application, without our previous requirement for a letter of enquiry. Please click here for Grant Application (pdf format). Note that funding normally is limited to any one project for three years - if you find yourself in this position, please call us to clarify your eligibility. The Foundation adjudicates applications twice a year. Applications must be received by March 15th and October 15th. Turnaround for application approval is one month; for each granting cycle.
